    Welcome to our property development company. After years of working within the construction industry, Albany Street Developments was created to ensure people receive the standard of service requested, not the minimum required.

    House building is about creating homes for people and over time this has somehow been forgotten. Albany Street Developments is bucking the trend in house building offering a full package to make sure our clients gain the finished product they want, to the standard they deserve.

    Our in-house team and partners are experts in producing cost effective solutions for housing that use modern techniques and products to produce homes that people can customise to their personal tastes whilst maintain the best quality finishes. We pride ourselves on what we do and being different from other developers.

    Having purchased the site in 2015, Albany Street have looked at this project as an example of how to produce luxury properties at a cost-effective price point. Located within 30 minutes drive of Edinburgh city centre, these properties offer an alternative to city centre living. The location is surrounded by historic golf courses, a race track and many nature walks to allow the feeling of serenity whilst being surrounded by excellent amenities. Bespoke properties are a feature of this development. Albany Street Developments look to finish a property to the client’s requirements and therefore internal finishes are designed to be adapted to meet the needs and wants of our clients. This includes:

    Jarvey Street, Bathgate

    In 2014, we purchased a parcel of brownfield land in Bathgate, West Lothian. Our initial thoughts and personal experience of the area led us to conclude that a flatted development would be best suited to the general needs of the area. It was agreed that the area required an increased level of affordable housing and our project, working in partnership with the Wheatley Group, developing 42 mid-market rent properties, is now under construction.

    Having worked previously with a Registered Social Landlord we understood the various requirements and as a business feel that it is important to work to produce social housing as part of our commitment to local communities and economies. These properties meet all RSL standards including secure by design and housing for varying needs. As a project, it is an example of ASD’s commitment to work within the social sector and not merely the private sector. We look to improve on the minimum standards and again provide homes, not houses, for people.

    Nadir Khan-Juhoor

    Managing Director

    Nadir joined Albany Street developments in January 2017 as our Managing Director. As well as being involved in the day to day running of the business, he is responsible for identifying new development opportunities and overseeing marketing and sales.
    Prior to joining Albany Street Developments, Nadir worked as a commercial property agent involved in the disposal, acquisition and development of office, residential and mixed use properties across Scotland, acting for private and public sector clients.
    Nadir has ambitious plans for Albany Street Developments however his aspirations are firmly rooted in retaining the ethos of the company, which is building homes for clients and not just houses.
